Genital warts, or venereal warts, are among the most common causes of sexually transmitted disease (STD) in the United States. Genital warts are relatively small flat bumps appearing on the skin. In women, genital warts may appear on the genitalia, within the vagina, around the anus, and within the rectum. In men, genital warts are found on the tip of the penis.
