In women, human papilloma virus (HPV) can invade the vagina and cervix. Usually, these warts are flat. They can be invisible to the unaided eye. Condyloma accuminatum is the most common type of genital wart. It is located around vaginal and rectal areas in women. The number of warts can vary from one single wart to dozens of them. Vaginal condyloma and cervical dysplasia is linked to HPV, however, secondary syphilis is also associated with genital condyloma as well.
