Genital Wart Remedy
There is no ideal genital wart remedy; cryosurgery is effective for removing lesions, but they are prone to recurrences; abnormal vaginal discharge is not associated with warts.
More than 100 types of HPV, most of which are harmless, have been identified, 30 types are spread through sexual contact. There are more cases of HPV infection types related to sexual contact, than of any other STD in the United States.

At least 20 million Americans are already infected. As with many STDs, these infections do not have visible signs and symptoms, thus making the transmission or prevention of transmission hard to control.
