HPV Genital Wart
An hpv genital wart or venereal wart are not removed through a LEEP procedure.
Condoms, however, will help prevent the spread of many other sexually transmitted infections. Skin-to-skin contact is all that is necessary for transmission. The human papilloma virus can be anywhere in the anal or pubic area, making condoms ineffective in the prevention of transmission during sexual contact.

Sexual partners that have come in contact with an infected person are advised to have a check-up to see if they have HPV.
