Plana Verruca
Plana verruca is caused by different HPV strains than those causing a venereal wart (genital wart).
This wart, appearing in groups is seen especially on the face of the young, and is associated with common warts that occur on the hands. There are many treatments available for this common wart. Histofreezer has been shown to be effective as an economical alternative to liquid nitrogen.

The flat wart is caused by the Human Papilloma virus types 3, 10, 28 and 41. It is common in both children and young adults. The surface is flat, pale, smooth, and slightly raised. This wart may appear on the feet, hands and arms, cheeks, and forehead. Plana verruca is caused by different HPV strains than those causing a venereal wart (genital wart).
