Wart
A wart can only be caused by HPV, human papilloma virus.
HPV is the single known cause of genital condylomata -- the vulva, vagina, cervix, rectum, anus, penis, or scrotum. It may lie invisible for years before warts or atypical cellular changes emerge. Exposure to HPV and abnormal cytology only means cancer risk is greater and routine paps are prudent.

There are three classifications -- common, plantar, and flat. Condylomata acuminita form on the outer layer of the skin and are somewhat irritating. Some of these may be invisible to the naked eye and appear lacking in harm. But, in the case of those on the genitalia, they can progress to cancer. A wart can only be caused by HPV, human papilloma virus.
