HPV'S
HPV's are of different strains and have different anatomical targets, but genital cancers in women resulting in ASCUS or vaginitis commonly require a cone biopsy to differentiate from other STD's.
The primary clinical manifestation of the disease include common, genital, flat warts, deep palmoplantar warts(myrmecia), focal epithelial hyperplasia, and plantar cysts. The diagnosis is made primarily on the basis of clinical findings. Paring and biopsy are necessary procedures.

The Human papillomavirus, is a double-stranded, circular, supercoiled DNA virus enclosed in an icosahedral capsid and comprising 72 capsomers. More than 150 types of HPV have been identified, some of them causing cancer. Certain types tend to occur at particular anatomic sites. HPV's are of different strains and have different anatomical targets, but genital cancers in women resulting in ASCUS or vaginitis commonly require a cone biopsy to differentiate from other STD's.
