Skin Warts
Skin warts on fingers are not associated with those that cause ASCUS or cervical cancer; they are caused by different strains of HPV.
Condyloma acuminatum usually occurrs on the mucous membrane or skin of the external genitals or in the perianal region. These lesions are usually few in number, but sometimes they aggregate to form large masses. People with such lesions should be careful not to transmit the virus to the partners.

ASCUS, Cervical Cancer
Epidermal lesions with a horny surface are transmitted by contact or autoinoculation. They are mostly caused by some strains of a human papillomavirus and usually occur on the dorsa of the fingers and hands. They may be also nonviral poliferations resembling these lesions. They are also called verruga. Skin warts on fingers are not associated with those that cause ASCUS or cervical cancer; they are caused by different strains of HPV.
